I am finding the courage to live wholeheartedly every day, with Jesus; called to lead by encouraging others in their spiritual journey through creative communication, listening, and empathizing.
I am a Pastor, a Pastor's wife, and mother of three; a Navy Submariner, an Army Aviation Officer, and a brave Nashville girl. My sons have chosen beautiful brides, so I also have 2 bonus daughters. They all carry pieces of my heart in their adventures as well as all the beautiful places my husband and I have lived and served in--
Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon, and Florida.
A while back, I discovered my passion is the unique setting of retreats and smaller conferences. I love the intimacy and ability to have a life-changing impact in a few days (sometimes hours) beyond just getting up and giving a sermon or message. I cherish the moments of sitting in the hurt with people, looking into faces, and reminding people what God thinks of them. I want to use my story of struggle and heartbreak to open the door for conversation and create a space for people to dig deeper, ask questions or simply absorb and learn from what others have to say.
In this new season of my life, I have space and opportunity to develop my passion as I lead our district's women's ministry. God is leading me to share what I have learned and put together for women's ministries, churches, and groups; develop, support, and/or teach at retreats, spiritual gatherings, and conferences. It is a risk. I know. But I showing up for God to use me in this unique way.

During 2020, I also had more time to develop my creative side. I began painting. I purchased some simple art supplies and started. And I never want to stop as it has become not just healing and life-changing for me, I simply love creating a piece. I have been tinkering for years in all kinds of graphic design and video editing. If I am creating something, you know I am in my happy place. This is where Wholehearted and True began.
You can see some of my pieces on my art page.
